Cannabis for the full-time Mom

Secondhand smoke is so dangerous to infants, and that includes cannabis smoke.

I am a stay-at-beach house Mom. I do some freelance work in the nights, but the goal of my existence right now is to take the best possible care of my baby boy. She just turned more than two, and these early years are so crucial to their long term health and development. My partner and I decided that both of us didn’t want to put our new baby into a childcare program, that he deserved to be raised with love by his parents. I quit my office job, and started a new job as a full-time Mom! One of the greatest hurdles I had to face was cannabis, because with a baby in the house I could no longer get high whenever I wanted. Some of you may guess the problem would be that I smoke too much cannabis and neglect the child. That couldn’t be more wrong, because unlike drinking booze or doing hard drugs, cannabis doesn’t impact your personality or cause mood swings. Cannabis relaxes the body and mind, nothing more, so the problem isn’t being high around the baby, the problem is how to get high separate from affecting the baby. Secondhand smoke is so dangerous to infants, and that includes cannabis smoke. Although I was an everyday cannabis smoker, I had to switch over to using smokeless forms of marijuana. With the wide array of cannabis edibles, drinks, and vape products on the market, it was a much easier transition than I expected. I have been using cannabis edibles for a few weeks now, and I love the way they make me feel.
