I have known Ned since I was a young child.
He was my Mom’s best pal, plus later he moved in down the street from my family.
Ned is not a blood relative, although he is still a pretty close member of my family. Many years have passed, plus now I live in my parents’ old dwelling with kids of my own. Ned still lives down the block, plus he drops by to see me at different times. Last weekend Ned stopped by plus asked me to come along with him to the local cannabis shop. Ned’s doctor had given him a prescription for medical cannabis, although he had never been to a “head shop” as he referred to it, plus felt particularly sad about going alone. Ned is 85 years old, so I provided to drive him to the cannabis shop plus show him around. Ned wasn’t aware of this, but I went to the cannabis dispensary all of the time, because I cherish weed! I was able to show him around the store, as I explained what all the multiple cannabis products happened to be, plus how to use them. Ned joked that I should have a task at the cannabis shop, not knowing I had already applied for a task here on a few occasions. Overall it was a truly successful shopping trip, Ned got the cannabis products he needed, plus became a lot more comfortable with the cannabis shop. In the future Ned can go there on his own, although I will never turn down the actual chance to go with him to the cannabis dispensary.
