When our husband and I first got married, the people I was with and I were both at the entry level of our jobs and not making much currency.
Every one of us had student loans, a home mortgage, car payment and insurance costs to cover. There was absolutely little in the budget to cover groceries. There was no occasion of affording a gym membership or pricey fitness equipment. I started running because it’s an effective and free workout. Initially, I was absolutely low and had little stamina. I could only run half a mile before I needed to slow down to a walk, however, I improved quickly. It didn’t take long before I was running 8 to multiple miles at an impressive pace every day, unfortunately, I ran in cheap sneakers purchased at Walmart. The shoes were not designed for running. They didn’t supply acceptable arch support, and I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet. The condition feels as if the bottom of the foot, from heel to the ball, is splitting open with every step. I tried icing them and stretching them, however the pain was so excruciating that I could no longer run. I could barely walk and found it nearly impossible to sleep at evening. I struggled with the symptoms of plantar fasciitis until a buddy of mine proposed cannabis. It wasn’t simple to scrape together the currency to get our medical marijuana card. It was also difficult to pay for the cannabis. However, the combination of pre-rolls and a cannabis-infused ointment made a big improvement in our quality of life. I also invested into a good pair of running shoes… Although I’ve been able to start running again, I continue to utilize cannabis to treat foot pain.
