So we are legal now and I couldn’t be happier. Finally, some sensible marijuana legislation happened and we are now free to possess cannabis legally. Initially, we were sort of hoping just to get medical marijuana passed. The last election cycle saw medical marijuana legislation fail by the narrowest of margins. And so I figured they’d go the medical marijuana route again. But to my surprise, the legislation that passed guaranteed access for anyone of age to enter and purchase marijuana from a cannabis dispensary. This was a bit of a shock to me but I was ecstatic. For sure, I would have qualified for a medical marijuana card and that’s the main reason I sought legal cannabis. Having recreational marijuana be legal makes even more sense. I mean if you can buy booze once you’re of age, I don’t understand why you can’t buy a plant that makes you feel better. For me, I have an inflammatory condition that medical marijuana helps tremendously. In fact, until I started using sativa and indica strains, my condition was pretty much out of control. I was in a great deal of pain and had very limited range of motion. All that changed once I started treating with sativa strains as well as indica dominant hybrid strains. It’s just that finding cannabis products was really tough and I sure didn’t want to get busted for something I actually need to be healthy. Now I don’t have to worry about that at all and I love the fact that I don’t have to sneak around to get marijuana for sale. These days, all I have to do is walk into the local cannabis spot and pick out something like blue dream to help me feel a whole lot better.
