No such thing as too old for cannabis

I also enjoy days where I do nothing but spark up a bit of blue dream and simply enjoy sitting on my deck

So turns out that they were right all those years ago about quitting smoking and taking care of your health. I’m glad I listened. Still, I got pretty into drinking and partying in my 20’s. There was some recreational marijuana mixed in there for sure. But my main appetites were booze and comfort food. That would last into my mid 30’s before I realized that I should listen to what I was hearing from health professionals. It wasn’t super easy but I chucked the cigs for more exercise. And then I reined in my appetites and focused on a more plant based and healthy diet. Now, that doesn’t mean I don’t cheat here and there or go completely wild on vacation. I’m human and there is a quality of life issue there. But I find that enjoying a bit of sativa or indica is all I need these days when it comes to relaxing and putting a smile on my face. I’m glad to be in my early 70’s and still doing the stuff I love to do. Granted, I’m not going as hard as I once did nor am I going to be setting any personal bests. Yet, I swim, hike and enjoy life outdoors nearly every day. Thanks to cannabis products, I’m able to enhance the moment without overdoing it or being tough on my body. I still like to have a glass of wine here and there but I keep it to two. I also enjoy days where I do nothing but spark up a bit of blue dream and simply enjoy sitting on my deck. Just watching the critters move about and the clouds lazily float by is often the highlight of my week for sure. Trust me, you’re never to old for marijuana.
