Symptoms of plantar fasciitis are helped by cannabis

When my husband and I first got married, we were both at the entry level of our jobs and not making much money.

We had student loans, a home mortgage, car payment and insurance costs to cover.

There was very little in the budget to cover groceries. There was no possibility of affording a gym membership or expensive fitness equipment. I started running because it’s an effective and free workout. Initially, I was very low and had little stamina. I could only run half a mile before I needed to slow down to a walk. However, I improved quickly. It didn’t take long before I was running eight to ten miles at an impressive pace every morning. Unfortunately, I ran in cheap sneakers purchased at Walmart. The shoes were not designed for running. They didn’t provide adequate arch support, and I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet. The condition feels as if the bottom of the foot, from heel to the ball, is tearing open with every step. I tried icing them and stretching them, but the pain was so bad that I could no longer run. I could barely walk and found it nearly impossible to sleep at night. I struggled with the symptoms of plantar fasciitis until a friend of mine recommended cannabis. It wasn’t easy to scrape together the money to get my medical marijuana card. It was also difficult to pay for the cannabis. However, the combination of pre-rolls and a cannabis-infused ointment made a huge improvement in my quality of life. I also invested into a decent pair of running shoes. Although I’ve been able to start running again, I continue to utilize cannabis to treat foot pain.
