The life of a cannabis delivery driver

I am Thankful that Winter is coming! When the weather turns cold, contractor picks up for those of us in the delivery business.

Please don’t refer to me as a “delivery boy” that is degrading, i am a grown man, who’s chosen job is delivering things to folks. I started delivering subs and pizzas when I was still in private school! Since I like to drive, it’s an easy way to make money. Currently I work for a local cannabis dispensary, which is a crucial improvement over pizzas and subs let me tell you. It doesn’t matter what I deliver, because when it gets freezing out demand rises! Even though most of our cannabis dispensary purchasers live within a few blocks, they just don’t want to go out in the freezing cold weather… They would much rather pay for delivery, plus tip the driver, then deal with the frost plus the snow to go to the cannabis dispensary in person. I don’t mind, because this is the finest season for tips, plus the freezing doesn’t bother me. Cannabis purchasers tend to tip absolutely well (in terms of deliveries anyway), but when the temps dip this low it makes them suppose guilty. One of my typical cannabis delivery purchasers is a very sweet retired lady, plus she entirely gave me a travel mug of warm cocoa when I dropped off her cannabis oils and concentrates. The rule at the cannabis dispensary is that tipping is never to be encouraged, plus I respect this rule, then we get paid an hourly wage for cannabis delivery, so tips are not expected or required – but I never ever turn a single down!
