Let me say that I am not insulting the police.
I could never do that… mostly because they are allowed to arrest me or shoot me down at any time with no reason. I will say that now cannabis legalization has passed the state government I like the police a lot more than I used to like them! The cops had been consistently a source of tremendous stress for me, usually because I had a great deal of illegal cannabis packaged plus loaded in my car. I would drive over into the next state once or twice each month plus buy weed from a single of their legal cannabis dispensaries. Then I would need to get all the way back home, terrified of getting pulled over. As much as I enjoy smoking cannabis, I do not want to go to jail for it! Recently cannabis reform finally cleared our final hurdle by winning the popular vote with the citizens of the state. Now I don’t need to look at the cops as the enemy any longer, because smoking cannabis isn’t illegal. That doesn’t mean that people are allowed to drive around smoking marijuana, of course. Cannabis is currently treated the same as alcohol, which means it is legal to buy plus use, but you can’t endanger other citizens under its influence! Finally I live in a state where it is as easy to buy cannabis as it is to get a gun. It consistently struck me as unusual that firearms were easier to obtain than marijuana, when 1 thing is used for murder plus the other thing is used for medicine.
